I came in as early as eight o clock to attend my first video conference call. It being the first call was the only bright spot on an otherwise bleak schedule. I have never been comfortable waking up early for anything other than playing cricket..Well, I got into the conf room just in time for the call and slid into my chair. What I didn't anticipate was the marathon talk session that was to ensue with little utility and even lesser humour. One new thing which I came to know about was that my team is made up of, not people, but back bones and pillars. :) And one of them also happens to be a 'professional gambler'..Now that is somehting interesting.....

Dark clouds and silver linings..
Today is one of those days when nothing seems to be going your way. Even the most dependable turn their back on you and you are left wondering if the world has lost its senses...Anyway, as the saying goes, every dark cloud has a silver lining and for me the silver lining came in the form of an introduction to VM :) After all there is some fairness in this damn world..

Yipppeeee..
My day began on a happy note, more correctly, ringtone. B called up as early as 6:30 in the morning to convey the good news that he got the interview call. Now that is something. Wishing him good luck for his interview..
As if that piece of news is not enough I got one more call just when I was about to start for office. This time it is L who has come down to Hyd from Chennai. And what does he have to tell me? He is seeing a girl and their relationship would be solemnised early next year. That's a double treat in the space of 2 hours.

I am a happy person.
